An application processing fee of $55 in U.S. funds, payable to The California State University, is required for each new application filed. This fee, required for each campus to which you apply, is nonrefundable and may not be transferred to another term at any campus. Fees are subject to revision by the Chancellor's office without notice.
This program consists of 20 three-credit upper division courses (60 credit units). Specific information regarding tuition costs and deadlines for payment is available from the PSM Office.
The PSM degree is offered only through The Tseng College and provides the added values of convenience, customized and accelerated courses, and assurance of course availability not generally available through traditional, on-campus programs. Tuition costs of this self-supporting organization are higher than those charged students who are seeking a degree in a traditional, on-campus format.
Tuition costs cover course registration. Books and incidental fees (i.e., application, graduation check, etc.) are extra. Financial aid to cover these costs is available for participants in a PSM cohort.
Because course content is specialized and focused on the unique issues that partner agencies face, case studies and other assignments and projects are customized for each cohort. Assignments build from course to course, exploring issues from various points of view relevant to the nature of the cohort. Integration of coursework throughout the program allows comprehensive planning of course materials, sometimes minimalizing out-of-pocket costs to the student.
Payment can be made at The Tseng College Client Services Department in the CSUN Bookstore Complex. Payments may be made by cash, check, money order, cashier's check, Visa or MasterCard, or online via the CSUN Portal with Visa, MasterCard or by electronic check.
Please make checks payable to California State University, Northridge (CSUN).
