Public Sector Management Program (PSM)

Financial Aid

Assistance from the Financial Aid Department of California State University, Northridge, is intended to help students finance their education. Financial aid consists of scholarships and grants (need-based funds which do not require repayment), loans (need-based and non-need-based funds that must be repaid upon leaving the university or dropping below half-time enrollment), and part-time employment (not a likely option for students in the PSM program).

If eligible, students may make application for grants and scholarships. Generally, the majority of students in the PSM program are working adults and are, therefore, not usually eligible for grants due to their income levels. However, these students may obtain loans to assist them to meet expenses related to completion of a baccalaureate degree.

For more details and current general information regarding financial aid, visit the CSUN Financial Aid Web page.

Become a Sponsored Student

Your cost of tuition at The Tseng College may be significantly reduced or covered completely if you are a sponsored student.

A sponsored student is a one whose tuition is paid by a third party. This third party could be an employer, a military organization, a vocational rehabilitation department, a municipality, or any other agency, body, board, business, etc., willing to pay tuition for a student.

You must submit a signed authorization form from a sponsor prior to registration, after which The Tseng College will invoice the sponsor directly for the tuition fees – you do not have to pay at the time of registration.

Print the Sponsorship Form (PDF), have the sponsor sign it, then return it to The Tseng College.

Questions about the sponsorships program may be directed to Alma Santiago at alma.santiago@csun.edu or (818) 677-3922.
