Rusche, Ed.D. CSUN’s College of Education takes pride in its long history of reaching out to the educational community. Dean Rusche sees this new online master’s program in educational administration as a natural extension for the college to use the latest technology to prepare new leaders for the future and to make its program accessible beyond the university’s regional area. “The advantage of working with The Roland Tseng College of Extended Learning is it allows us access to state-of-the-art technology in the delivery of our program. Our talented faculty and ExL’s expertise in technology assures that students will have the opportunity to gain the knowledge, skills and dispositions needed to enter the field of school leadership with confidence. “Not too many years ago most colleges and universities essentially prepared educators to take jobs in local markets. However, the field of education reflects the globalization that has been witnessed in most other careers. Our students teach and are administrators in almost every state and other countries as well. This is no longer a trend, but a way of life. The online master’s program is symbolic of the Michael D. Eisner College of Education’s commitment to a world in which education knows no boundaries.” |
