Graduation
As a DL ELPS graduate,
you receive your master’s degree from CSUN’s Michael
D. Eisner College of Education and are invited to participate
in the University’s commencement ceremonies along with
your on-campus ELPS peers.
Earning your Master
of Arts Degree in Educational Administration requires:
- Completing 30
units of the prescribed coursework which includes fieldwork
and passing the Comprehensive Examination
- Satisfying the requisite EDUC 600, Research in Education,
or its equivalent, which may be taken simultaneously with
other coursework
- Maintaining a GPA of 3.0 or above
- Passing the
Upper Division Writing Proficiency Exam, a one-hour proctored
test in which participants write an extemporaneous essay
on an assigned topic. Your faculty advisor will provide
you with the information needed to fulfill the UDPWE requirement.
