H. Reynolds, Ed.D. earned his doctorate
from USC. He received an M.A. in education administration and
B.A. in education from CSU, San Francisco. Dr. Reynolds has had
an outstanding career in California's public schools serving as
a 7th and 8th grade teacher, school principal, and superintendent
in three different California districts. His leadership in education
includes expertise in budget development, staff development, personnel
recruitment and hiring, policy development, facilities construction,
school boundary reconfiguration, and community relations planning.
In
2002, Dr. Reynolds left public K-12 education and assumed a tenure-track
position with CSUN’s ELPS department where he teaches contemporary
leadership in education, administration of school personnel, and
school/community relations. In addition to his teaching responsibilities,
Dr. Reynolds is an advisor to fieldwork students who are in the
final stage of earning their master’s degree and administrative
credential. He also serves as chair of the Search and Selection
Committee and is responsible for recruiting, screening and recommending
new ELPS faculty members.

Reynolds is dedicated to his professional mission of educating
and training his students in a way that inspires and motivates
them to become the best of future educational leaders and provide
them with a healthy, proactive perspective about the role of the
school administrator.
