Gail Wilson Lew, M.A.;CCC-SLP
Biography
For over twenty years Gail has taught in a variety of settings most of which have been in the public schools. For the last twelve years she has had a private practice where she specializes in children and adults who stutter. Gail teaches the undergraduate and graduate level fluency classes and supervises a stuttering clinic at California State University, Northridge, California. For the past fourteen years Gail has been a facilitator of the Los Angeles County-Pasadena Chapter of the National Stuttering Association. Three times a year she conducts a special workshop for children who stutter and their families at Pasadena City College . Gail has published several articles, spoke at several school districts and conventions, and has also authored a children's book on stuttering. She was once a severe stutterer herself.
Gail is recognized as a board certified fluency specialist by the American Speech-Language and Hearing Association (ASHA). Approximately 300 people in the United States hold this certification.
