Biography
Dr. Edward P. Hall received his B.S. and his M.A. from the University of Hawaii (UH) in 1954 and 1964 respectively, and his Ph.D. from the University of Southern California (USC) in 1971. He was a Speech Pathologist for the Department of Education in Hawaii from 1960 to 1965. After graduating from USC until the present time he has been a professor in the Department of Communication Disorders and Sciences at the California State University, Northridge (CSUN). He has dual certification with ASHA for both Speech Pathology and Audiology. For the past 30 years he has supervised graduate students completing their student-teaching in Speech Pathology and Audiology in the many school districts in the Southern California area. For the past 20 years he has taught the Computer Applications in Communication Disorders Course at CSUN, which focuses mainly on Augmentative and Alternative Communication Devices for Speech Disabled individuals.
