1) Does CSUN have a local chapter?
Yes.
It is recognized by the National Chapter and the university. There
is a $10.00 fee to join. Dr.
Karen Jones Green is the chapter advisor. The meetings are
held online. Other activities have been discussed by the executive
committee such as sponsoring a workshop on campus annually.
2) What do the initials NSSLHA stand for?
They stand
for National Student Speech Language Hearing Association.
It
is the national pre-professional organization for undergraduate and
graduate students interested in the study of human communication and
related disabilities.

What are the advantages of joining National NSSLHA?

the NSSLHA journal entitled Contemporary Issues in Communication
Science and Disorders (CICSD).
