CSUN's online master's degree program in speech-language pathology recently received a 2003 "distinguished credit program" award from the Association for Continuing Higher Education. To receive this award, a program must demonstrate originality in content, program design, audience, delivery mode, marketing and method of cooperation or collaboration. The online speech-language pathology program, which was launched in 1999 and graduated its second cohort in May, was developed jointly by CSUN's Department of Communications Disorders and Sciences in the College of Health and Human Development and ExL's distance learning unit.
